Why not Farmer's Branch?

It won't be as brutal as trying to buy in Valley Ranch or Coppell, but there is competition.
Prices haven't gone up as much yet as some other areas, but nice central location.

Check out charter schools if you don't like the public ones.
They don't want an old house

I'm not a fan of the new construction in Coppell. Most of the locations are awful and it is way overpriced compared to even an updated home with similar square footage. In 10 years all the houses will be "old" but you'll have one in a crappy location that you overpaid for.

How about the area of Euless feeds GSCID. Its little far (45mins) to commute but not so bad.We like the place but our only concern is about resale. We will be paying more than what Euless avg home sale price but less than colleyville which is a block away.do you consider this place holds good value in future or not, If so why? Please suggest

That's a nice area. GCISD is a big plus in north Euless.

Also keep an eye out for N,Carrollton area that feeds into Hebron High School. Very good location for you and a great investment to have a home in that area.

have you looked at westhaven in coppell tx? It would probably take you 30-40 minutes to get to galleria in rush hour and the same amount of time for your wife.

you should be able to get a house under $500,000 for around 2500sqft, and brand new with moderate amount of upgrades!

I don't think so. I lived in Coppell for a few years. I rented a house in Coppell too, and we tried to buy there. You won't find a brand new house for under $500k in Coppell or anywhere else in the suburbs that are that close in. New construction in those areas, if you can find it, is $600k and up. Besides, Coppell has one of the most desirable school districts in Dallas. Houses are snatched up very quickly and have gone way up in price.
