For the OP, as has been mentioned, if being around other Indians is important to you then Southlake is not a bad option as their Asian population is growing rapidly. Still nowhere near Plano, Coppell but won't be far behind 10 yrs from now IMO.
Huh? Your first sentence makes no sense to anyone not inebriated. Can't get better than #1.

Southlake has nowhere near the number of Indian grocery stores other places do. You can't eat t shirts.

Anyone else notice the OP hasn't chimed in after the first post? Not all that surprising with the way this conversation has gone.

I can't believe I just read through 6 pages of that crap, but this might help you out:

Pathetic excuses, man; very weak.

Still waiting for this to make sense. I posted a third party rating that I, nor anyone in Southlake, did not come up with. If you have issue with the metrics used either forgo them or contact the people who rated the various areas and schools.

As I said you can take the opinion and use of metrics by people paid for those opinions or you can take the internet tough guys here. I'll take the opinions of the professionals.

Very true. If only they made something that could transport people to a place within 20 miles. Maybe someday.

Would you want to travel 20 miles for your regular grocery shopping? Have you ever been to an Indian grocery store? I have many times and there's very little overlap in the stuff carried at an Indian grocery and a regular grocery. Also, quality of life is about more than just ratings.

In CA it is very common. It is 20+ minutes to the Asian market for almost all of the Asian people I know in CA. Since my wife is Asian I am going to guess we have been to the Asian markets as many times an an Indian person goes to the Indian market so the answer to your question is emphatically yes. Most Asian people that I know tend to have done very well and don't live near the areas where the Asian markets are which happen to be in less than desirable areas which makes sense due to Real Estate prices. My wife's parents live about 30 minutes from the Asian market and have gone for the last 35 years. Never a complaint and never a mention of moving closer.
