A lot of grocery stores will give you boxes if you ask. You may have to call ahead and tell them to save you some, but it's usually not a problem. U-Haul sells pretty much anything you can imagine, I'm not sure about their prices.

Default Craigs list??

Have a look on Craigs list or Freecycle. You may just find people who've just moved and have boxes they are willing to pass on.

I second looking on Craigslist or Freecycle.

We got our boxes and packing materials from U-Haul and Public Storage. IMO, it's expensive. U-Haul will, however, buy back any boxes you don't use. There is this place in Garland (also a location in Plano),
Dallas Packing Supplies Dallas Shipping Supplies Dallas Packaging Materials Dallas Bubble Wrap Dallas Styrofoam Peanuts Dallas Styro Sheets Dallas Mailing Tubes (http://www.boxes4u.com/retail.htm - broken link), and their prices are much more reasonable. (I did not discover until after the fact.)
