currently in process of refinancing rate is locked at 2.625 for 20 yrs and no fees

Default Yes, it is still a good time to refinance

Rates are still very low. Now is a good time to refinance. It wouldn't surprise me if rates go up after the election regardless if Biden or Trump wins. When I say go up I mean like to the 3's. We are not going to see rates hit the 4's or 5's overnight. But if you are thinking about refinancing and going to stay in your current house 3-5 more years then yes now is the time to do it.
