I've lived in several places in the US and travel pretty frequently and DFW seems to have the worst use of turn signals I've ever witnessed. Of course not everyone fails to use turn signals but on a daily basis I come across at least 3 vehicles not using them. Why do so many people not use turn signals here when merging lanes or turning?

We thought those were racing indicators.....that's those little orange flashing lights you're thinking about?

Yes, I never could get how people could keep them on miles after making their turns yet fail to use them beforehand. The worst offenders are probably the same people who run and manage TxDOT.

Guilty. You mean you should use turn signals when merging lanes? I don't.

We're in LA right now and it's even worse than Dallas. I've lost count of how many drivers put on a turn signal and turn in the opposite direction.
