There's a new place in Collin Creek Mall that looks pretty good for kids around that age, I haven't been there but it's called Amazing Jakes. It would be worth checking out I think.

There is a new place at Firewheel Town Center called Sweet & Sassy. They have a huge pink wrapped limo that picks the kids up. It is supposed to be somewhat like Libby Lu from what my daughter told me. It is right down from Build a Bear at the mall. Depending on what your kids like, Nickelrama in Garland (still pretty close), Studio Movie Grill (if a good movie for kids is showing), at home, if your neighborhood has a clubhouse you can rent that, ASI Gymnastics.

ASI parties are fun.
It really depends on your daughter. Is she into girlie things?
There are art parties at Studio Arts.
Also look in the back section of a Dallas Child magazine. There are so many ideas...tea party, pony party, etc.

Thanks for the ideas....She is a very girlie girl so i think we are going to rule out CEC. Sweet and sassy sounds neat, we will have to check that out.

We did that one year. No need to book one of the party rooms. You can reserve a table in the bistro and order a cake from there (really good cakes from a local bakery ). The girls can bring their dolls or borrow one to sit at the table w/ them. Only problem is if some of the kids are VERY picky eaters they won't be happy. I actually like their sweet potato chips but most kids don't.

Sweet & Sassy is alot of fun. And check to see if the manager will let you bring birthday cupcakes OR have her birthday luncheon at a restaurant at the mall and serve cake there. That way the girls can show off their makeovers by "going to dinner."

Confession: I've been "made over" at Club Libby Liu. And it was fun. And I went to lunch like that. And I was 36 yo.

My BFF's little girl was turning 5 so I got her the makeover thinking I'd take her to Firewheel and we'd go to lunch. Well my birthday was right after and she got ME a makeover. How do you say no to that?? So we, and her mom (to document) went and had a great time. I even got the pink twirly hair piece. Still have that, but can never figure out just where to wear that. :/
