Not the first time. And I'd bet if they were able to get it back they would lose it AGAIN. Probably needs to just shutter. Let another REPUTABLE institution take it over for a campus in that area.

I personally don't see how Paul Quinn College is going to survive.

Maybe another college could take over the old Paul Quinn facility, or maybe it can be converted into a DISD magnet high school.

However it can stay accredited while the lawsuit proceeds: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/082809dnmetquinn.11fab3b07.html (broken link)

As much as I like the idea of a HBCU in the DFW area and still hold on to hope for Paul Quinn; I think the area would best be served by focusing growth into UNT-(South) Dallas.

I agree. That thing has been a disaster since day one. Paul Quinn did not attempt to do any renovation work before moving into that building. Those buildings had been sitting vacant for years and were in terrible shape. They are on life support and I don't see anyway they are going to survive. The focus need to be shifted on the UNT south campus.
