Wow. Highs in the 20s and lows in the teens...and 4 straight days below freezing. Brrrrr. Talk about hard core cold. The only thing that makes me feel better is that is seems like everyone is going to get super cold in the country....but I am definantly starting to question if Dallas ever gets hot LOL.

All the palm trees look so sad...the ground has already frozen in East Dallas...so I guess this is true blue winter. Will the end of this month be warmer? When do the 50s and 60s come back??? How long does the ground usually stay frozen for? Help, I need hope of warmer temps!!!

Highs in the 20's? I guess it depends on what forecast you look at. But yes it does occasionally get that cold.

It hit the 50s last week and will again next week. This is Texas weather lol.

I was going by Channel 11 and Channel 8...plus the national weather service. But whether its 30 or 28 is a mute point to me it's below freezing!!! And that is the high!

My family that moved to TROPICAL JAX is crying and complaining about the cold there. They thought ALL of Florida was sunny and tropical

Yep, this forcast is not what I like. I'm not a freezing cold weather person. If it's going to be that cold for that long I better be skiing in the mountains.
Wondering how much of a ski run I can get on a golf course if it has a good slope and gets some white powdery stuff

We're looking at a low of 14 on Thurs and Fri nights. That's without the wind chill. Where are all those "Texas has 3 seasons. Hot, hotter, and hottest...throw away all your winter clothing, you'll never wear it..." people who were whining last summer? LOL

LOL!!! And it has been pretty consistently cold now for a good few weeks. Sure we have had some sunshine and all but that is it.

Jacksonville is just as bad as Tallahassee. They may as well not even be in Florida regarding weather, they are like a piece of Dallas in Florida, weather wise.

I'm at the point where if it is this ridiculously cold for this long there may as well be snow and make the kiddies happy lol. I just checked the nat'l weather service web page, McAllen down in the Valley is supposed to get freezing rain and lows in the 20s, so it looks like no one is escaping this.

Just wait for July and August when its 105 out and you'll be dreaming of the 20 degree days to come back! I hate it as much as the next person as I am not a cold weather person, but this is helping for when I move up to Massachusetts in a couple of months. Winters there are BRUTAL! Thank god the summers aren't as bad as here though lol

Yeah, it keeps getting colder. I moved from AZ this summer and was hapy about the cooler summer than AZ , but the cold is so unbearable. I was hoping for highs in the 40s/50, not 20s/30s.
