2,200 post....that's a whole lot of talking about fast food

Ya, In-and-Out makes a decent little burger using decent ingredients, but it's still a fast food restaurant serving greasy food. You eat enough of it day in and day out without excersicing and you're going to put on the pounds. Even with excersicing you're still probably going to clog an artery or three eating it every day, especially sucking down liquid fat in a cup...err, milk shakes!

Hum...greasy burger and a milk shake, now I'm hungry LOL

Their burgers are arguably the greasiest fast food burgers you'll ever find, yet they've convinced people, their burgers are healthy. That's sort of like convincing a right-winger he should really be a liberal.

A lot of the appeal has to do with the novelty factor, I think that gets overlooked.
Where have they said the burgers ae healthy? Only fresh. Give it a break dude.

Thanks in part to this thread, I stopped at the In-N-Out in Addison today and had a double-double. No, it's not "healthy", but I'd rather eat that than McD's if I'm going to eat a fast food burger. And the cost isn't much different.

I think the Whataburger they're building a very short distance away is open now, too. If not, it's about to be. If any of you suffer from low blood pressure, a few visits to that area can solve that problem real quick!

I love the double animal style. And animal style fries are awesome as well. I think I could put the animal style sauce on anything and it will taste great.

The Lancaster In-N-Out opened on May 31 and I finally gave it a try today. The burger was decent and the fries were okay. Not the best I have ever had, but not bad overall. I will say this, compared to other fast food restaurants, the customer service was excellent. That was a big plus.
