I deleted it because it was entirely TMI. I was on a writing binge and got carried away. That happens to me from time to time.

Little update on me: got my results back after 1 week of liquid restriction: all the number that had been bad are now in range (bottom of range, but still....) - hoping that my week 2 results are even better.
Got everything crossed for you!! Thanks for keeping us posted!!

I love seeing post on here from everyone!! What you guys consider TMI is news from home to me. This is a " chat" thread after all...

So... it rained all night here. Sun is out now, have to try and get some grass cut while we can. It's getting rally high in some spots.

We have ANOTHER Ring tail in the attic!!!!! We have caught and " re homed" a few over the years then found out it's illegal to transport them over county lines. Hate to do it but it's time to say bye bye.
They are chewing in thru the attic screen and chewing wires in the attic. not to mention going potty. With a hole there's no telling what all we could have up there. Have to say, glad I'm not a man at this point.

People say they are rare around here. Not at my house!!!

Still raining here, Camper. I'm SO glad that I found out about Melatonin working so well for Lulu's thunderphobia. I'd have spent upwards of $100.00 on Xanax over the past week, whereas I've spent only @ $2.00 on the Melatonin.

I cant believe you're so calm about having another racoon in your attic. Do they chew on electrical wires? And the pee/poop -- OMG. Does your poor hubby trap them?

Edited to add that I thought ringtails were closely related to the racoon family. I didnt realize that they're in a class by themselves.

Thanks for the link, Camp. I was not familiar with ringtails but I know what they are now.
I bet it will be hard to get rid of them permanently. They seem to like your attic. They are destructive little critters, aren't they? That is one bodacious tail they have. You could name your latest one "Daniel (as in Boone) or Davy (as in Crockett).

All kidding aside, Camp, I know they are a PITA just like squirrels are and yet they are cute. I had to deal with moles in the front yard (along with bats in the belfry-but that was a personal problem-hehehe) a few years back. I figured the company I hired to get rid of them would poison them. Nope. They set up these fixtures all over my yard that looked like miniature oil rigs. When the mole hits one a blade comes down and kills it. Yikes! I felt like Jack the Ripper with those devices in my yard. They stand up about 12 inches so people can readily see them. But, they did work. Sigh. I still feel bad about this which is probably due to some of the bats still visiting my belfry on rare occasions.

Ketabcha, I didnt know that's how mole traps work. Does the company come back and remove the remains?

No, they don't, TFW. I called them to remove the traps but they told me to keep them because they were part of the service. So, they are in a corner of my garage where I can't see them.

I pulled them out of the ground and only one skeleton came up. I suppose the others just slid off the knife. I could tell which ones had been sprung. It was not a pleasant task but at least the moles were gone.
