I know I don't like UPS delivery (they deliver boxes that are smashed, opened, etc.) - I've gotten things that are broken, damaged, etc. - USPS isn't much better (but they are better IMO) - I think Amazon is trying to be the "be all-end all" and cutting corners - I hope they make things right!
Amazon does try to make things right whenever I complain. Their Customer Service is unmatchable. In fact, they could give seminars to other companies on how to treat customers right.

Agreed on the customer service. I will only buy something that is backed by Amazon. They make returns or replacement so easy.
YAY FOR LULU!!! She stopped an attempted theft early this morning. I always let my neighbor park in my driveway, right next to my garage, overnight – and, at 5:30 AM, Lulu went into the living room (right next to the driveway) and started barking. She whines when she wants to be let out, so I ignored the barking and eventually she stopped.
A little while ago, we saw that the neighbor’s car in my driveway had been broken into. Video cameras showed two guys breaking into other cars on the street and taking stuff – and breaking into the car in my driveway at 5:30 AM. There was nothing taken from it, although all the doors were left open. The video showed the guys leaving very quickly. It’s believed that they were scared off by Lulu’s barking.
I always appreciated Queenie's silence. She never barked except when she wanted to be fed or let out -- and then she'd bark only once. And she also barked only once if I forgot to cover the threshold with a rug when she wanted to come back inside. But now I'm starting to see a positive side of having a dog who barks, especially when there's a reason to do so.
Ugh! It's hot and sticky outside but that's ok. I have one more river trip coming up and love the hot and sticky while I'm just floating and soaking!! But then I'm ready for a nice cool front and a fire. It's been getting nice in the early morning hours.
I must be getting old if all I can think of to write about is the weather!!
Drove past my mothers house the other day. Was an odd feeling but looks like there is a family living there and they have dogs so they must be good people, right? I wanted to go to the door and ask to see inside so bad but yu jsut cant do that these days so I am left to my imagination..
Daughter and son in law came for dinner last night. They have been married for a month already! Time is going by waaaay to fast for me.
