Camper, I missed your bon voyage, sorry. Hope you have a blast. We want details when you get home from camping. You should have let us all know sooner. We would have come over to keep an eye on the barn for ya, and had a slumber party in your absence.

I soooo feel your pain in the wallet. I have the same situation. I'm going to split my tax money between the two of mine and they can find a place to live (and get a JOB) or sleep in the park with the other homeless people!
Yep about the freebies too! They have been rough to find lately. At least we have a few to play with.
I went camping with hubby. First trip of the season for us. Went to a great park in Kerrville ( for anyone from Texas that's reading).
Had a F A N T A S T I C time!!! The weather was awesome. No a/c the entire trip. Even ran a small heater at night for the dogs. We walked, ate, talked, eat, drank, ate, played games and ate. Get the picture? ha ha. We had a fire almost all the time the entire weekend. I love to just get away and watch nature. The sad part was there are practically no deer in the park anymore. They stopped the public from feeding them a while back and I guess they have just wandered away. You can see a few every now and then but way off in the distance.
Going again in two weeks!! This will be our first time going away for Halloween and our anniversary is the 28th so we are going to make it a really long weekend. I can't wait.
I am going to make reservations every two weeks for the WHOLE winter! God, I love to winter camp. So wish you guys could come.
