Sorry, alittle off topic.
Caladium; is there a Trader Joes opening in Delaware? Where? Down in Magnolia we need grocery stores. It's terrible down here. Most people food shop in the awful stores in Dover and worse yet, they food shop in Walmart. Rip off. No choice and high prices. I need to find the perfect spot closer to Philadelphia to move to. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Caladium--good one!

I pronounce it just like it's spelled--with three syllables.

As the topic of this thread was how to pronounce Delaware, sorry to hijack this but I tried to send cgerlach1 a DM but was unable to do so, so I will answer him/her here, off topic that it is. I, too, live in Magnolia and wish for better food store choices but make do with what's available. There is a rumor a Redner's will be built on 13South in Camden area, date unknown. Also rumor a Giant is coming to Milford (or may have already) which I think is a great store. Yes, for a state capital, the pickin's are slim when it comes to buying food. But sorry you feel the need to move out.

I thinks its Del-a-wear but what do i knew, I just moved here in November.

I'm thrilled about Giant opening closer. I live in Magnolia and the choices are very slim. I went to a grocery store on 10 and the entire meat case had brown meat. Gross
I went to another grocery store down a ways on 13 in a very high trafficed area. I thought I hit pay dirt until I went to make a hamburger out of their ground meat only to find a mouse poop in the middle of the meat. Haven't been back to either store.
Giant is owned by Stop and Shop which has numerous stores in MA and CT and probably other states as well. It was by far the best store in my humble opinion and shopped there regulary when I did live in CT.
I have a cute joke - What size is a ratchet ?? A little bit bigger than a mouse shyt.
I hope they don't delete me.
