I own my own home and it was built by a private builder so I have no pony in the ring. As Seaponies stated, if Insight is working/has worked for you that is great. You deserve to be happy in the largest investment most of us will ever make.

That said, lawsuits are often (not always) a good measure of a whether or not a business is being run properly. If there are many lawsuits against one company, a reasonable conclusion could be that there is, at the very least a weak link somewhere in that company. What would cause a customer who obviously liked the product enough to go to contract with them, feel the need to incur additional expenses by taking them to court. Court can be costly as well as time consuming. The number of suits should at the very least give one pause to at least reconsider their choice. There was a company in NY whose motto was "An educated consumer is our best customer", that applies here as well.

Nuts2uiam i completely agree with you thats why i looked into the lawsuits. And by lawsuits we shouldn't believe the number is large. Some insight was a party to the suit but were not the main party, when i last looked all but one were resolved or insight was dropped from suit. And i only found a few when taking the number of homes they build into consideration i'm willing to bet its less then 1 per cent. If people want to know they can read the circumstance for themselves and decide. However, coming on here and making an inflammatory statement seems unfair. And I'm not speaking of you I completely agree with your point research, research, research. This is the last I'll speak to this subject.
