Now i know about 9% of Delaware is hispanic, about half of which is puerto ricans. I know Delaware is close to Philly and SE PA, which has a huge n fast growing PR population. But i would like to know what cities/neighborhoods would you mostly find the puerto rican population. And is there any significant number of any other hispanic nationalities(mexican, dominican, central american, other)?

BTW, I know Delaware has only of the highest percentages of Puerto Ricans compared to most other US states, and I know Wilmington and Dover have the most. I know they are highly connected to Puerto Rican populations in Philly and SE PA in general, and to a lesser extent to NYC, NJ, & Baltimore.

But what neighborhoods in Wilmington & Dover are you more likely to find Hispanics, specifically people from Puerto Rico?
And what other towns besides those two are you likely to find significant numbers of Puerto Ricans?

If you're Dominican, why are you so hot to live with Puerto Ricans?

Wow I'm actually taken back by this thread. I'm a New Yorker in the process of moving to Delaware to get away from the rude and ignorant people that live up here, so please mr. Puerto Rico who feels the need to rudely call us a**holes, move far away from Sussex county. After all you want to stay where the Ricans at... They are in new castle county. Good luck to you.

If they're exactly alike, why do they dislike one another so much? I know a lot of Puerto Ricans, so I know this to be fact.

Check out Vineland, New Jersey. Vineland is less than an hour out of Philly.

Lots of Puerto Ricans in Vineland.

Vineland even has a multi-day Puerto Rican festival.

Lots of Puerto Rican restaurants.

Lots of Puerto Rican stores.

The current mayor is Puerto Rican.

Check out the big grocery stores, lots of Puerto Rican food ingredients.

Yes, Vineland New Jersey is the place to be if you are Puerto Rican.
