I already posted but wish to add comments. Shortly after I moved into my place, I called Comcast and they set up a date, the following Saturday, to put in my service. I stated I am retired and if a working person needed a Saturday appointment, I was flexible. I was told, no Saturday is good; it was set for 10am - 2pm. The installer came about 11am and worked very efficientally. My place had never had a phone and he said the jack was wired incorrectly, but he remedied that. We talked a bit and he was a Delaware native, even gave me recommendations on restaurants and parks nearby. Later I got a call from Comcast in Philadelphia to ask about my experience. I stated it was very good.

I have had no reason to call customer service, so can't comment on that.

I have no complaints.

My suggestion would be to get everything from them in email, that way you have a paper trail and can refer to it. When a sales rep gave me a price I got it in email. Then he left and Verizon didn't believe what he gave me so I sent them his email and they honored it.
Good idea, Seaponies - thanks!

Customer Service? My sister just bought a home in Dewey Beach. Called Comcast for an appointment. Got one. Put it in the calendar. It was 6 days later. No problem. Over the next two days, she received 3 more calls to set up an install and each time she said she had one. They looked and no appointment was found. I finally gave her my inside contact number (she refused to use him initially) and got it squared away. As I said, service great.....customer service not so good.
