Default Newark pronounced New-Ark

Newark, in town, not a suburb of, but in the city limits is a very nice place, if you don't mind a few students. Housing is affordable, the neighbors are great, and there is a tiny main street with restaurants and stores. Our family lived there three years and loved every minute, street festivals twice a year, tailgating at UD football games, good ice skating shows, world renowned theater at the university.

Cheers and good luck,
Jim
