Care Credit is only a scam for people who never intended to pay their bills to begin with. It's also been a great way for people to get dental work done who would not otherwise be able to afford it. Care Credit is basically an interest-free loan as long as you pay it back during the specified time period (usually 6 or 12 months). But past that period the interest rates go way up and it gets much more expensive. It's a great deal IF you pay it back on time but if not, then it's like any credit card with high interest rates.
