I just looked at my gums, the top part of gums are pink and the lower gum line is red likes yours. I have no issues and no pain etc. I use an dental solution I've made up and use it daily on an area that has been a 10 yrs issue...and it's keeping me pain free.
Do you have pain? I have a thread in the supplements on Oil of Oregano and my thought is use some OOO on a qtip on your lower gums....OOO is very powerful so a little on a qtip goes a long way. It will burn initially but goes away. Check my thread out.
Do you use fluoridated toothpaste...I do not and am very anti F...
In case you are not aware ALL the fluoride added to our toothpaste and oral rinses and public waters is a waste by-product from lead and fertilizer industries, so the fluoride is causing more damage than doing any good.
If you use a commerical Toothpaste like colgate, crest etc these are loaded with negative ingredients...I have NOT used a commerical TP in at least 20 yrs and starting buying mine at health food store and then online and for the last year I make my own.
I'm on another health board and we're discussing the issues a woman is experiencing from Listerine Zero...the long list of nasty ingredients...good grief. When I used a mouth rinse is was a natural product called Spry and now since I make my own TP, I no longer need an oral rinse.
I'm so convinced that many dental issues are from the nasty ingredients in commerical mouth products.

The OP doesn't say if they have pain or what. Again I believe so many toxic ingredients in commerical products and our public waters. Also, looks like dental fluorosis on teeth. This is from fluoride.
I agree with canker sores - and the need to brush (and floss).
