In general, does dental insurance cover teeth whitening?
I just realized that teeth deep cleaning and teeth whitening are two different things, I mistakenly thought that teeth whitening is part of deep cleaning.
I just did deep cleaning (only one side so far), need second appointment to finish the other half.
If teeth whitening is covered by insurance, is it worth to get professional teeth whitening.
If it is not covered by insurance, then any teeth whitening product recommendation?

"In general", dental insurance doesn't cover the cost of elective, cosmetic services like this, but an "in general" answer won't really help you. What does your dental policy say about it? Took about 3 seconds for a web search to find quite a few links about this...including:
Thanks. I did not find any information related to cosmetic. So it is not covered. I will probably leave it alone, and just use whitening toothpaste.
