Usually, my Oral B gives up at the very end of the timing it brushes but this morning it gave up like in the middle of the timing. I just Googled the Oral B and this new io series has an app? That is something I do not need since I am taking my dog out to potty and getting his breakfast ready.

Sonicare has a warranty for 2 years. They will send you a replacement if it stops working within that time. I had to do that with my last one and am getting there now as it is not holding a charge well. I have been using a sonicare for over a decade now after a periodontist recommended I start to prevent further gum disease. After my initial treatments, my gums are now doing fine.

I have a cheap spinbrush and a cheap "sonic" toothbrush that operates at about 20khz, both from Walmart for about $7 a piece.

They work great and one of the best things about them is they both operate of AA batteries. So I just throw a few AA on the charger for a few minutes, then my toothbrushes clean like mad.
