Iknow this is an old post,, but I would like to share about all these dentist wanting to do implants. Not only is one tooth for one procdure runs at least $2,000 per implant, but I also have seen , since I drove for a retirement home, many of these people who had implants,, ended up going back to these dentists because of these implants falling out after a while. NOT Worth it ,
Nursing homes are notorious for dental neglect. They never brush the patient's teeth. Makes me wonder if they wipe their butts after they poop. If you don't take care of what's in your mouth (implants, bridges or even original teeth) then they will rot and fail.

Amen. When I was a resident, I cleaned the teeth of a nursing home patient and then offered to clean her partial denture as well. She didn't even realize she had a removable denture. It had been held in her mouth by tarter for several months. Truly sad.
