Do a search for "Murphy Creek, Aurora CO" and "80018" and you will find a few threads, like this one: //www.city-data.com/forum/denve...phy-creek.html

I looked at a few places over there and while I do like the style of houses that it offers (especially those that have the double-sided fireplaces), I found that it's just too far away from downtown and the things I like to do. Obviously the 'far away' location may not be a problem for you. I was also concerned about the seemingly large number of foreclosures in that area.

If you enjoy living right next to a landfill, then go right ahead.

Default I DO enjoy living next to a landfill!

Hi - I've lived in MCreek for 5 years. Great K-8 for our kids; love the golf course; fun golf clinics and neighborhood golf groups; very fun community pool and clubhouse; great neighbors with lots of street BBQs. Nice trails for jogging, playgrounds for kids, etc. Perhaps VegasPilgrim is writing from Vegas rather than knowing what the community is truly like p.s. my dogs like it too!
