Do a search for "Murphy Creek, Aurora CO" and "80018" and you will find a few threads, like this one:

I looked at a few places over there and while I do like the style of houses that it offers (especially those that have the double-sided fireplaces), I found that it's just too far away from downtown and the things I like to do. Obviously the 'far away' location may not be a problem for you. I was also concerned about the seemingly large number of foreclosures in that area.

I DO enjoy living next to a landfill!
Hi - I've lived in MCreek for 5 years. Great K-8 for our kids; love the golf course; fun golf clinics and neighborhood golf groups; very fun community pool and clubhouse; great neighbors with lots of street BBQs. Nice trails for jogging, playgrounds for kids, etc. Perhaps VegasPilgrim is writing from Vegas rather than knowing what the community is truly like
