Thank you all so much for the information we are excited about trying to find a new place in Denver! We live in Manassas and I work in Sterling what should be a 20 minute ride in the morning turns into an hour on a good day. We plan to visit sometime in the summer to look at places and see about finding work. We really appreciate all the information. Skins fan I am going to have no comment because I do cheer for them just because I live in the DC area but my boyfriend is from Buffalo so we also are Buffalo Bills fans which maybe I shouldn't say

Buffalo Bills? Yuck. LOL. No, its all good. I'm a Redskins guy for life but I also root for the Broncos since I'm here. Watching Peyton Manning should be fun.

Mixed race couples and families are very common in the C & C of Denver; I think you'll feel right at home. If you enjoy the outdoors, you will probably like it here. OTOH, the African-American community is much smaller. Do you have or are you planning children?

We do not currently have children but we do plan on having children after we get married. Which I read the Denver area has good schools.

Thanks everyone for all the information I am very glad to hear that we will feel right at home. We would like the Denver area to be our final move so being able to move and love it and start our family there is very important to us.
