Due to a crime surge in downtown Minneapolis, I started looking at different cities odds of victimization and safety. Denver came out (statistically) as a good deal safer than here. But then I started thinking about Columbine and Aurora. What is this anomaly of spectacular crimes near Denver but outside? Has Denver ever had anything like either of these within its city limits? These crazies don't go INTO the big city to shoot, they let loose in what would, in my state, be a quiet suburb. I wonder what the story is.

There is no story, Colorado doesn't have any more deadly shootings than anywhere else, but for some reason the media loves to sensationalize it.
