I was on a local ski forum when I lived in NC and since we moved to CO last summer I haven't been able to find a local ski forum here. So I started my own. All levels are welcome from beginners to experts. Discuss anything related to winter sports. It's new so it's not really busy yet, but it is picking up steam quickly.

Awesome!

If you don't already know the Colorado ski and snowboard meetup group is pretty good too. The annual trip to Steamboat is coming up and presale prices are already up til 10/22. Over 700 people usually go and it's amazing rates!

Yup, we went last year and I'm a part of a few of the ski/snowboard Meetup groups already. I've tried talking to them about having their own sections on my site but none of them reply. At least have the decency to reply instead of just ignoring me.

Glad you were able to go! That does suck about being ignored though. That's one of my biggest peeves. You should email Boston Mike directly, he's pretty good about getting back to people.

That's who I emailed, but I haven't heard back from him and it's been a few days. Maybe people don't read it because it comes form Meetup.com and goes to spam?

So I heard back from Mike. Did you have something to do with that?

Hey there-
We are renting a house in breckenridge and are looking for a few more folks to join us. Family friendly, dog friendly. Not a party house. Rent will probably be around 600 for a single or 900 for a couple, but totally worth it. Hot tub, pool table, 1/2 mile from main street. Send me a PM if you are interested.

I signed up! Coming from someone who has lived in Florida most of their life and will be moving to Denver next month, I don't know the different between a ski pole and a tree. This will be a nice place to get to know the ropes.

Thanks for setting this up!

Wife and I have passes to Copper this year. Is the $900 per month? We both have jobs in town so we'd only be able to go Fri/Sat.

I grew up in Florida! Didn't even see snow till I was driving to Snowshoe from Raleigh, NC when I was 27. That was an "interesting" trip.
