While watching a game, it looks like they were heavy bars, grates, security barriers at all the entrances to the stadium.

Is this so? Why does the stadium need such heavy barriers?

First of all it is no longer Invesco Field, it is Sports Authority Field. You have to get your corporate sponsors right.

Secondly, SA Field does not have any more gates or barriers than any other stadium that I've been to.
