Hmm.... How come it says make an appointment 'for any service'? I think I would call to check, as having an appointment would make it so much quicker I think. I know my daughter used the appointment thing when she renewed her license (had to go in instead of doing it online).

For any driver's license related service, ie, renewal, learner's, address change, name change, tests, etc etc.

Also, I read an old post that the DMV where you go to register you car is different from where you go to get a license. Is it not all in the same building?
That sounds about right.
I registered a 2008 vehicle and I remember the first time I had to pay an out-of-state transfer fee as well as the actual registration fee.

And yes, different offices for licenses and registrations.

And not even all DL offices do online reservations (e.g. the DL office in Centennial off Arapahoe does NOT do online reservations).

I tried to estimate how much it was going to cost me before going in. According to all the resources and calculators out there, it said I should have to pay about $500. In reality, it ended up only being about $280.
