Real thing

I mean cmon , it’s on the plains so who are they fooling , it’s not COS where it’s in a valley right next to the front range
Different angles, different locations, and different peaks. The shot on the top is Longs Peak (technically mostly Mount Meeker), and the bottom is Mount Evans.

EDIT: The bottom picture was taken from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science looking WSW toward Mount Evans. Still trying to figure out where the top picture was taken. It's closer to downtown looking NNW toward Longs.

There are many license plates on the roads, including some from California. Many are tourists, many just moved here, etc. I was in an accident earlier this year and had a rental car with CA plates for about a month. I didn't notice any different behavior than when I had my CO plates.

Now, if you have Texas plates on your vehicle, all bets are off. Sorry Westerner, I couldn't resist

Currently only Teslas are being keyed in CO.

However if your truck is really nice, it might ended up in South America, being driven by the local police. ;-)

Trade that gas-guzzling truck in for a Subaru and you'll be fine.

Denver is fine. It's Phoenix you'd have to worry about.

You can’t blame the Chamber of Commerce for trying.

That first photo was shot with a long lens. It was taken from the of top the Cherry Creek Reservoir dam, just very zoomed in.
