We are considering moving to Evergreen or Cherry Hills/Greenwood Village. Can someone tell me more about living in Evergreen?

Is there a close-knit family-friendly vibe there? I'm hoping for a walkable family-friendly lifestyle (obviously won't be walking in winter).

What are the best schools (PK-8)?

How much snow does the area normally get during winters?

Are there good restaurants there?

How long does it realistically take to drive to Cherry Creek shopping mall from Evergreen? How about to DIA?

Anything anyone can offer... thanks!

Shanewear- Evergreen and CHV are completely different (as well as BowMar for that matter)
I really recommend making a trip out here.
Evergreen is 45 min from Cherry Creek Mall and probably 1 hour from DIA.
gets a ton of snow
is not very walkable

Thanks for the reply You've been so helpful to our search. We will definitely make a trip out there. We are just finding the style of homes in Evergreen are more our style, so I was curious. Would love to hear more if anyone can share. I'm mostly wondering whether Evergreen as a strong community and family-centric feel.
