Thank you very much for the picture tour, very fun!! The weather is very similar to where we live now, the mountain views are amazing!! I see the Sierra Mountains out my front window right now Such beauty...

The region consists of rolling hills, with a higher elevation than most of the Denver metro area (~6000 ft), pretty good mountain views (although dramatically different during the summer than winter; I'd argue the views are superior in the winter) and has a number of natural ponderosa pine clusters (kind of the northernmost outreaches of the Black Forest) and a lot of mini gulleys with some interesting plant life. At Tallyn's Reach they tried to keep as much of the existing trees intact, and plant more pine trees to give it a foothill-y/ mountain-y vibe. The Tallyn's Reach community center has an ironic sign overhead saying "Welcome Back to Colorado."
