Help! Quick I need to know if anyone has any comments about living in North Park Hill. The house we are interested in is this area, not on the side where the new stores in Stapleton are. Has anyone experienced any major problems living in this area?

What are some nearby cross streets? Park Hill has some great, high-demand areas, but some parts to the north can be block by block. Some people say that Park Hill magically stops being nice north of 23rd, but from what I've seen I would not hesitate to live between 23rd and MLK parkway. I think overall Park Hill's momentum seems to be on the upswing.

Well yeah because then it would be in Stapleton ...
Cross streets will determine. There are some places that some folks might not want to live in NPH.

Go check it out for yourself and see. It can be kind of hit or miss. It seems to vary by block and I didn't care for the area myself when I looked at a home around 26th and Olive, but to each their own. It didn't seem horrible, but I didn't feel like it was a good fit for me.

28th dead ends at Oneida before it hits Quebec -- that area is in my opinion safe, generally quiet, has seen some gentrification in the past decade and property values seem to be creeping upwards.

Actually North Park Hill might not be the best right now. there have been numerous shootings and gang activity is rising...and not to mention its summer. i think you should be fine as long as you stay south of 23rd. i wouldn't recommend living north of 23rd

I will concede that the closer to 17th you get, the nicer the houses get. But not everyone can afford a house in the $250,000 to 1M price range. If you're looking for a house under 200,000, East Park Hill bordering Quebec and North Park Hill between 23rd and MLK seems to be a good investment. I personally wouldn't want to live next to a busy street like Quebec, but everybody has different comfort levels.
