Has anyone who tried to order tickets for the Rockies' 2007 Playoff run heard any sort of followup from the front office? This whole thing seemed like such a fiasco, and then it's blamed on "an outside malicious attack". I do remember MLB or the Rockies saying that it was linked to some west coast server, but that was back in winter at least. Has anyone been compensated for this inconvenience or heard of any further action on the case? To me it gave the organization (and somewhat indirectly the city of Denver) egg on its face, and any explanation would help me want to be a Rockies fan again.

You should know that no one will take it seriously, and nothing will ever come of it.

That's just how professional the MLB is. They don't care who bought the tickets, as long as they got paid.

Well, I started this thread a while back and figured that since the Rockies are doing well again, why not rekindle the flame. Really, I have heard or read no update on this BS PR foulup on the part of the team (and I read the paper daily and watch the news almost nightly). Of course once the problem fell from public view there's no way the team would voluntarily fess up unless it got alot worse and they had to start doing damage control.

Has anyone with tickets gotten playoff directions for this year? Has anyone been apologized to for the 07 mistakes? I've been hearing on the radio that ticketholders are now having to somehow secure the right to buy this year's playoff tickets by buying season tickets for next year. This doesn't sound right, but it wouldn't be surprising that they'd have a catch.

FYI: "Rocktober" as a phrase was copyrighted by someone other than the team before the 07 run....she had to go to court to enforce her rights but eventually prevailed. Score one for the little gal.
