C-470 to I-70 to 6th Ave. Santa Fe to I-25 to I-70 if you have to.

I feel for you.

The C-470 route around isn't too bad. I used to drive that one everyday. As for the alternate route, take Santa Fe to I-25 to 6th freeway, no need to go up to I-70.

4-70 north to Alameda,
Alameda east to Union,
North on Union to Union Square.
Reverse going home

Or my route from University & Belleview
Sante Fe north to I-25,
I-25 north to 6th Ave,
6th Ave west to Union,
Union south to Union Square.
Reverse going home.

I certainly agree with the C-470 to Alameda Exit. I tried it once a couple of weeks ago and it worked out great.
Any thoughts about C-470 to Kipling Parkway to 6th Avenue to Union?

It will take a long time to go up Kipling. It is fast - 45 mph speed limit but it seems they have several of the lights choking traffic so it takes longer than it should (recurring theme around town).
