I am considering Elitch passes for my kids (ages 13,9,7) for summer entertainment. What can I expect as far as lines? wait times? crowds? Is it worth the money? Is there a better time of the day or week to go? What about the water park? Is it clean? overcrowded? I appreciate all input. Thank you!!

I know this does not answer your question but I would consider getting water world passes instead of elitch gardens. Me and my family at first had elitch garden passes but then switched to water world and love it because of how spread out it is which helps deal with the long lines. Also water world is rated as one of the top ten water parks in america. It's worth every doller you spend.

Water World is awesome and I love to go there! I don't think you can go wrong with either depending on what they like. Elitchs is more centrally located and it does have a water park (not nearly as cool as Water World but better than the neighborhood pool too). I think the water park is worth a season pass to Elitch's alone but that's my opinion. Water World is up north so harder to get to is you're on the south side of town and the passes are a bit more expensive but if they're really into water than it's quite awesome. From my limited experience (maybe once a year to Elitch's) the lines aren't horribly long but maybe 15 minutes in each for most rides sounds about right. The water park was clean and not too bad. Of course avoid the weekends if you can and the week before school starts back up again!
