Coming down for a lions game soon wanted to know if the area around the stadium had some trendy bars or what not and wasn't in a bad area. Thanks!

Hockey Town Cafe...

The area isnt too bad around there but definitely be around some other people. You'll know if its decent or not by taking a look around you.

You'll want to walk (from the Stadium) either East towards the River, or South (towards Woodward). In those areas you'll find Cheli's Chilli (Chris Chelios from the Red Wings restaurant), HockeyTown Cafe, and a number of other restaurants/bars. Especially as you head East (off Comerica Park, which is right next to the football stadium). If there's nice weather, the whole area should be hopping!

have fun!
