I have a choice between these two offices. Does anyone recommend one over the other? The Oak Park location is on the bus route, which is a plus. Thanks everyone.

If you live in Troy, why not the Troy one? Oak Park isn't bad, but the Troy one would seem more convenient.

No car, but I have my license. Yes I know I need a car. The Troy location is 4.7 mi on the north end of town but the Oak Park location is 6.8 to the south but on the bus route, albeit with transfers. Just wondering if the service and waits at Oak Park are ok or if I should just do the long walk to north Troy.

Ah, figured as much. The bus service should be fine. The estimation for your commute would be around an hour. SMART tends to be pretty reliable.

I'd just go to whichever one is more convenient to get to, the wait is a moot point versus how long it could take to get to either location.

I've been to both, but lately I typically go to the Oak Park location which is closer to my house. The waiting area was full but I only waited maybe 20 minutes since they keep the lines moving. It's huge compared to many locations. Just be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes at peak times so take something to read to pass the time. (I'm always dumbfounded by the people sitting there staring at the ceiling).
