...or why not save yourself a long drive, support Detroit, and stay in the city?

Would the hotel on Woodward be safe? Anything to do around there for the night?

I'm on probation and can't leave Michigan, otherwise I'd definetly be in Windsor for the night!

Well where could I stay that's reasonably priced, that has stuff to do nearby? Stuff as in Drinking/Partying.

Yeah, where COULD he or she stay downtown that was reasonably priced?? $150.00 a night doesn't fit my budget, and although I'd love to stay at the Book Cadillac, I'm sure that's even MORE.

I'm sure there are some hotels/motels either on Woodward or just off Woodward in Royal Oak that would be safe and clean and not cost you $150.00. Red Coat Tavern is good for burgers. I went there for the Dream Cruise. Plus there's a ton of nightlife in R.O.

Try this place. I stayed here when I was too hammered to drive one time. It was clean and cheap and you can be downtown in no time with a straight shot down Woodward:

I bet you won't get anything similar downtown for close to the same price. There's a Holiday Inn Express on Washington Blvd, but there's no way you'll get in there for under $100.00, plus I'm sure they'll rape you on parking!

Kwame was on probation too and that didn't stop him from going to Windsor!!

Just don't be flamboyant about it!

Not sure how much the Courtyard on Jefferson Ave is, but it is right on the People Mover line. We stayed at the RenCen across the street and parked in a structure right on Beaubien for only $5 overnight!

If you do stay in Royal Oak though, you can't miss the Red Coat Tavern - I second that. World's greatest clam chowder, seriously. And the biggest onion rings!!!
