A reading of less than 140 is a good reading. The closer to 100 you get the better so 88 is very good for you.
However, it varies from person to person. At my age and weight a reading of 140>155 is normal for me. If I get below 100 ,or very close to it, I go into diabetic shock quick!
Typically white flour pasta gives me a big spike and I'll feel like **** later on.
I might suggest going to a whole grain pasta instead.
You can find them on the shelf of your favorite store.
