my glucose has been good all week (90 just now, last had lunch at 1) my fridge has had leftovers instead of none because i was so used to overeating previously

i am going on vacation next week but my appetite has not been that great. there is a nasty virus going around my office (at least 2 people were out all week) but my poor appetite is from anticipating the plane ride since i don't fly that often. I certainly don't feel sick and have been protecting myself with vitamins and things from GNC. the metformin is supposed to suppress the appetite too

i last ate at 1 and my appetite, which used to be ravenously hungry, is now 'I wouldn't mind some food but i could wait too, it's OK"

i don't have that irritable feeling i always have

i was on amaryl from may to Sept but was taken off it because my kidney doctor said he felt it was making me gain weight. i went on 2000 mgs of metformin per day. could it be that it took 3 months for the metformin to really start working?

I am not used to this!! what could it be?

I wonder if that is how metformin works.
