is Red Bull Sugar free(or the Monster lo carb) energy drink Ok for diabetics? Caffeine replaces the sugar I believe. I find it more satisfying than coffee because it makes me more alert without the crash afterwards and also seems to improve concentration(possibly due to the vitamins they list in the ingredients)
Frankly, if you want the energy without the crash, let me recommend working out and a good whole food diet.
Because of my schedule/job (lots of day-night switching around), I used to rely on coffee and energy drinks. Now that I have a very intense workout regimen at least 4 times a week and I eat only whole, healthy food (including fruits and veggies - home-cooked), I drink a cup of coffee in the beginning of the day (I would say morning, but sometimes it's at 6 am and sometimes it's at 6 pm) for the taste and habit...but I don't need any energy drinks to stay charged up. You can take a nice multi or B-complex. I always take a little extra vitamin c because I am surrounded by sick people.
The answer is not all these ridiculous energy drinks.
