i have been using victoza for nearly 3 weeks, as prescribed, and my BG is consistently over 200, often 300-400, despite eating very little. how long does it take victoza to work? this is a sudden, unexpected diagnosis after feeling ill for months. i am not feeling any better.

What is your diet and exercise program? It's more than taking a pill.

Vegan and gluten-free does not mean you have a good carb count. Keep it to 90 carbs per day or less.

Is this the only medication that you're taking for your diabetes?

Victoza® (liraglutide [rDNA origin] injection) for Patients With Type 2 Diabetes "Victoza® is not recommended as the first medication to treat diabetes."

Despite eating very little, you may be eating too many carbs. You need to talk to your primary or an endo and get your numbers down, they are way too high.
