i have several different glucometers that use the same test strips. since my a1c was staying in a good range and my bgl when i tested seemed high, i tried using more than one of my machines on the same drop of blood. iwas surprised that at times i get a reading on each machine that is 15-20 pts different. they are all calibrated correctly to the strips i use. it is not one unit that is always higher or lower . has anyone else experienced something like this? i know there can be some difference with each test, but this seems out of line.
