Hi gguera,

It's nice to see the medical community getting behind the LCHF diet. So many have benefited from it while many medical professionals still falsely champion the low-fat diet.

A good watch, thanks for posting.

Best,
Frank

High good fat, and protein/fiber is the key to my having lowered my a1c from 7.6 to 6.4 in 60 days. Anyone use fiber supplements ? I have taken fiber with meals in pills and the months I do my a1c is lower then when I don't. I take the fiber especially when eating something I shouldn't have like rice, ice cream, or cake.

I use fiber supplements, I don't take them with meals because I don't want the fiber to decrease the effectiveness of the meds I take before and after meals. It is quite a balancing act.

On a related note, is it common for women to be diabetes-free even if they've gained a serious amount of weight over the years?
