If I want to loose 5 pounds of fat in 2 weeks. I am open for any suggestions. I really want to jump start and after the 2 weeks I will continue on a healthy path but not as aggressive, if you understand what I mean.

Atkins, Dukan, 17-day - anything restrictive for the first couple of weeks, will cause you to lose plenty of water-weight up front. Just remember to replenish your water intake, and get plenty of exercise. And do _not_ starve yourself. You need to eat in order to lose.

If you want to lose 5 pounds of FAT, and NOT muscle, then I suggest the following:

HIIT Cardio in the mornings on an empty stomach.
1500 calories per day
NO SUGAR. Bread is basically sugar so lay off ALL breads except for 2-3 slices of whole wheat bread per day.
Do tabatas everyday of: Pushups, situps, air squats, pullups, pullups.

You do this and you WILL lose 5 pounds of FAT in two weeks. You'll also lose ZERO pounds of muscle which is very important.

It would be very difficult to lose 5 pounds of fat in two weeks from diet alone. You'll have to incorporate some type of physical exercise into your daily routine along with maximum of 1500 calories in order to make this happen.

Thank you! I know that I have to hit the gym. I am not planning on starving myself. Protein food is really filling and it keeps me full all day. Im going to thee gym right now.

How about Atkins diet combined with 60-90 minutes of cardio and weight lifting per day and drinking alot of water. All Atkins phase one is, is eating green veggies, lean meat or protein. It used to be that you can be generous with the fat, but not anymore. Yesterday I ate one 2 egg omelet with low fat cheese, for lunch canned tuna with a tbs of mayonnaise and for dinner I had steamed broccoli and meatloaf. I drank 3-4 bottles of water and has some almonds for a snack.
This really kept me full all day and energetic. I will introdice some more carbs from bread, rice and pasta after the first two weeks. I just want a jump start. Does that make sense?
