I am totally loving Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com. This is a great website and also has apps for all of the smart phones. You can keep a daily food journal, input exercise, ascertain goals and how long it will take to get there, etc. It is amazing and has really helped keep me accountable to myself.
I was going to post something about this on here but you all beat me too it. I lost 12lbs in less than a month and I wasn't starving myself or anything. When you start counting calories it really puts into perspective how much you over eat; thus, gaining weight. Great APP and i plan to stick with it.
I was coming here to post as well! This is THE BEST site and app. I lost 16 lbs in 3 months by just logging my food. Well obviously I improved my eating but seeing it in black and white really motivated me to make the correct choices. I also love how it calculates your vitamin and mineral intake on a daily and weekly basis. I also now make sure I get enough calcium and it so easy to track. The scanner is AWESOME.
I recommend this app to all my family and friends. I have friends losing a bunch of weight because of it too.
My final tally is 20 pounds lost and two pants sizes. Best app and website ever! Who says counting calories doesn't work? Probably the same people looking for the next "miracle" diet!
