its easy to find an excuse , dont let a bad job wreck your whole body. Come on, beat them at their own game. Its much easier to find a better job also if your healthy. Get a moving and feel better about yourself. If you dont feel like moving and I get that after a day of work at least gain some control. You can do it, I have faith in you!!!! Your only hurting yourself, is that what you really want? Now that you know what your doing, you can make steps to change! If your posting here and this your obviously thinking now about this issue and wanting to change it. How about we stop at the supermarket after work and find some better choices? Thats A PLAN~~ and less time to eat if your out. Good luck sweet heart and let me know how you did , your starting tonight (you know that right!)

What kind of post is this? This lets everyone know that you are either a jokester, dont really want help, trolling or something similar. Why start the thread if this is how you will respond to legitimate suggestions with how to solve your problem?

Dont know if you seriously want help, but I'll give my recommendation. Stop playing the victim/blaming game and do something about it. Pickup a hobby that involves some type of physical activity. Martial arts training cannot be beat for this. Or, as someone else mentioned above, take a few yoga lessons to get your basics down, then you can practice your routines along with vids on Youtube.

Eating the way you say you do after work is recipe for disaster or WORSE!!!

The hardest part is the first step out the door. It gets much easier after that. Promise.

You know, I just took care of all the final expenses for my H. He died of a massive heart attack in his sleep at 61. The one defining characteristic of his life was laziness. He never did anything physical unless he absolutely had to. He made fun of me running, walking, and going to the gym. But I was the one picking up his ashes from the funeral home. He always came home from work and spent the evening eating and laying around.

There's a lesson to be learned here.

Take no food with you to work, and no money.

I do that and that's what I think causes me to binge eat, because I just spent the last 8 to 12 hours with nothing but coffee in my tummy. I work evenings and nights, which are very hard shifts and to think about going to the gym is hard, but they are actually good suggestions.

Maybe the Op can buy an excercise bike and put it in front of the Tv?

Maybe bring a healthy lunch and one snack and no money? This is what I did until I got into the habit of no snacking.

On the contrary. Take plenty of healthy food with you to work, and no money.

If you have a filling, protein-based snack around 3 in the afternoon, you'll be less likely to binge when you get home. Try a couple of hard-boiled eggs, or peanut butter and celery, or a few slices of turkey.

When I get home from work, the first thing I do is change my clothes and get some exercise, whether at home or outdoors. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Is there any other way to break this cycle than quitting my job?
Yeh..just don't do that. Because if its not your job it will be something else.

If you like that stuff just eat it in reasonable portions while finding comfort in something else non-food eating related. You could spend time prep cooking a healthy breakfast and/or preparing a healthy meal to take along.

this person was scared off? Ohh well I hope we helped! Some people tried to be gentle, it seems you are not that serious, maybe when you wind up like Paula Deen you will change your mind.
