Have any of you downloaded Apple's Lose It! app (it's free) from their website, and if so how well has it worked for you?

There's an accompanying website if you don't have the iPad to use the app with.

We just signed up for this so I was curious to know if anybody's had success with it.

I've been using it for a little over three weeks now and lost 9 lbs so far. Not much but I am in no hurry. Nor have I been starving myself on the usual "diet" menu.

The idea behind it is pretty simple. Eat fewer calories than you need everyday. Cutting back on the calories you eat results in weight deficit. There is no secret, no gimmick and no crazy food restrictions. Just eat less food. Oh and exercise. Can't forget that. It's basic fundamentals for weight loss. The app makes it super easy to keep track of your calorie intake and if they happen to be missing a food you eat, there is a create food option. Or if you're using it on your iPhone you can even scan a bar code and add it that way. There's also an option to share a food you've created with a friend. You can set reminders to log in your daily intake and exercise that they call motivators to help keep you on track.

So far that I can tell, in my opinion anyway.. it's an awesome little app and I very much enjoy using it.
