When I was young I was about 378 pounds. My mother took me to the doctor 1 day and he told her I was obese. My mom got scared didn't want me to get diabetes because it runs in the family. From that point on my mother put me on a strict diet. I lost about 144 pounds in 5 months, and then 3 months later lost another 80 pounds. What I thought was funny about this was, I lost so much weight without exercising. Prior to the day of the diet my mom got me a gym membership. She thought I was going but I just went to my girlfriend’s house. I didn't start going to the gym till I got to about 200 pounds. When I went back to the doctor and saw how much weight I lost I almost cried. I learn 1 thing about life that day. Weight loss starts in the kitchen!
That is a heck of a lot of weight to lose in that little time, especially for a child. I don't think it is very safe to lose weight that quick. Good grief what did you eat? What kind of diet was it?
Hmmmmmmmm. These numbers are not adding up. Unless you were eating practically nothing and engaging in hard, physical labor for hours on end I do not see how you could possibly lose that much weight in such a short period of time.
Yep, hard to believe this weight loss story. Even the "Biggest Losers" they are exercising like 5-6 hours a day, strict diet and under medical supervision.
And he had a girlfriend at this time? Most children/young people who are obese don't feel very good about themselves and don't feel attractive to the opposite sex so I am surprise about this statement also.
The most truthful part is weight loss does start in the kitchen! What you eat does effect your weight gain or loss.

Reason: correction
I am three months in on my weight loss journey. So far I've lost 34 pounds. I am averaging 3 pounds a week. That is slightly more then the recommend 1 to 2 pounds a week.
If someone was on a medically supervised restricted diet for morbid obesity, that kind of loss is definitely possible. Think of people who have had their stomachs stapled - they have no choice but to severely restrict their food intake and have to supplement with liquid nutrition for the first couple of months.
However, the OP is saying his *mother* put him on a diet, and he had no exercise at all. Unless his mom is a gastric surgeon, I'm guessing this is just a made-up story.

Somehow I couldn't believe this thing, but if you say so, I guess you really have a strict diet or are you eating those times or shall we say what food did you eat?

Now your story is believable. Good on you for losing weight!
