Well, you don't need to eat that fiber. If you're calorie restricting, that's a mistake. The body wants calories. If you give it calories from high-carb low-fat fruit, veg and grains, the body won't feel the need to store fat, and will rid your fat stores through thermogenisis. See "80/10/10 proof"
I just invested in a Vitamix which blends everything together and yes I drink it on an empty stomach. It's great to have clean intestines!
My wife has been telling me that we need to get a Vitamix. Have friends who use them and they seem great but OMG $600 for a blender? I know, I know, like every Vitamix owner I know says "Its so much more than a blender". I guess I'll find out soon enough because the missus really wants one.

I agree, $600 is a bit much, even though it is a spectacular blender. It's not in my budget currently, but maybe soon.
In a pinch, I caught the Nutribullet on sale at Sam's Club a few weeks ago. For $69, it came with two containers, two different blades (one for milling seeds, nuts, etc), as well as a 30-day supply of a Superfood powder. For an additional $9, Sam's sold me a 4-year warranty that will replace it or refund my money any time in the next 48 months if things go wrong.
It does EXACTLY what I want it to do: make green smoothies, as well as protein shakes. And it makes them really fast. Cleanup is quick, so I'm inclined to use it often.
Personally, I like this better than juicing, as you capture all the fiber. You can add fruit/yogurt/flax to your kale, and yes, eventually you learn what fruit masks the taste of kale (or at least makes it palatable!). I've started my mornings for the last few weeks with a kale/blueberry/yogurt/water/raw honey mix that is absolutely delicious.

I LOVES my Vitamix, but to make it worth your while you have to use it frequently. Mine came with a great recipe book. Customer service is wonderful. Made in America. Motor comes with a FIVE year warrantee. Easy cleanup. Definitely a great addition to a portfolio of health and weight loss.

Oh Kings G. buy that sweet lady a Vitamix...lol. Yes they are worth it and as far as the price, I am paying with "easy pay" (6 months of payments) from QVC (check the website), is that better? I am rooting for you Mrs. KB :-)
